The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. The stretcher frame is slightly warped. There are a very few spots of surface dirt in places. There is some minor rubbing to the extreme edges and corners. There is a protruding pin of approximately 5 mm. in the lower left vertical turnover edge. Examination under ultra violet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
