The work is relined. The canvas is slightly wavy. There is surface dust and soiling. The work is slightly discoloured in places. There are stretcher marks visible along the lower left edge. There is a small area of hairline craquelures in the light blue passages. There are artist's pinholes in the upper corners. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is a minor retouching visible in the upper right corner and there is a second minor retouching visible in the lower right corner.
