The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. All collage elements are present and adhere well to their underlying support. The canvas undulates slightly and there is minor rubbing to extreme left corners. There are two minor hairlines to the upper extreme central horizontal edge, the longest measuring approximately 1.5cm. in length, and only visible under close inspection. There are some minor drying cracks in places, primarily to the canvas collage to the lower right corner. There are minor losses to the collaged paper element in places to the lower left horitzontal edge. When examined under ultraviolet light, there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
