New York City graffiti artist and famed member of the downtown art scene in the 1980’s, Futura 2000 showed at Fun Gallery on East 11th Street alongside Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and Kenny Scharf. Holly Solomon was interested in graffiti art and innovative mediums when she acquired this picture directly from Fun Gallery circa 1983.
