The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. All elements appear to be present, and adhere well to the underlying support. There are a few faint handling marks in places. There are surface irregularities in places, coherent with the artist's working method. There is surface dust and soiling. There is some minor rubbing to the extreme edges. Examination under ultra violet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in very good condition.
