The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. The canvas is slack and there are faint stretcher bar marks, only visible under strong raking light. There is faint rubbing to the extreme lower horizontal edge. There are hairline drying cracks to the ink. When examined under ultraviolet light, there appears to be no evidence of retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
