The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Not examined out of frames. There are a few faint handling marks, only visible under strong raking light, and a few very faint superficial hairline abrasions to the edges of the frames and glazing in places, most notably to the upper left turnover edges of the frame of (vi), which are not visible when installed. There are two faint pinpoint accretions to the upper horizontal edge of the frame and glazing of (viii) and another to the lower right quadrant of the glazing of (vii). There are a few faint hairline abrasions in places to the prints, only visible under strong raking light and only under close inspection. There are a few minor irregularities to (ii), (vii) and (ix), presumably process-related. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
