The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. There are a few firing cracks and surface consistencies in places, in keeping with the artist’s working method. There is a minute loss to the lower left corner of the dress and the right arm of one of the unglazed figures, and a minute area of historic consolidation to the figure's left leg which fluoresces under ultraviolet light. It is our view that the work appears to be in good condition.
