The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. All elements appear to be present. There are some minor surface accretions and abrasions in places to the shelf, with some associated pinpoint losses to the extreme edges. There some surface abrasions in places to the ball, the largest one of approximately 2cm in length. There are minor abrasions to the pot, only visible under strong raking light. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
