The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Gelatin silver print on semi gloss paper with margins. The sheet is held with photo corners. There is pinpoint bumping to the extreme corners, with a minute loss to the emulsion in the upper right extreme corner, not affecting the overall image and not visible when framed. There are a few very faint hairline surface abrasions in places most notably to the darker passages and only visible under strong raking light and close inspection, and another faint abrasion to the centre lower horizontal edge, only visible under strong raking light. There is a faint circular impression beneath the mouth of the figure, only visible under strong raking light. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition. This work is sold framed.
