The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas, stretcher and attachment are in generally good condition. There are stretcher marks visible on the centre lower horizontal edge. There are some some handling marks to the extreme edges. There is some soft surface soiling. Examination under ultra violet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
