The work is structurally sound. There is a fine layer of surface dust. There are a few scattered surface irregularities and losses, most notably to the base and a hairline crack to the front of the base, where the book joins the base, presumably in keeping with the artist's intention and choice of medium. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
