The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of the frame. The sheet appears to be hinged in places along the reverse edges to the underlying mount. The paper is slightly wavy. The sheet has yellowed. The artist's stamp is slightly faded. There are artist's pinholes in the upper corners. There is a white accretion in the upper right quadrant. There are some pinpoint-sized brown accretions in the centre right. There is some discoloured greasy residue visible in the lower part, coherent with the material used on the reverse. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
