The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. The sheet undulates slightly. There is some discolouration to the edges of the sheet. There is some minute foxing in places, most notably to the extreme edges and only visible under strong raking light. There are a few creases in places, most notably to the lower horizontal edge. There is a minute repaired tear to the upper right extreme horizontal edge and another to the extreme lower right vertical edge, the largest measuring approx. 2cm. There is historic folding to the lower horizontal edge, with an associated minute tear to the extreme right vertical edge. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
