The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There are a few drying cracks to the upper right quadrant and to the extreme upper horizontal and vertical edges. There are a few minor paint losses in places to the thicker passages of media, most notably to the right leg of the table in the lower left quadrant, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. There are two minute areas of lifting to the upper right quadrant, by the white column, which appear to be stable. When examined under ultraviolet light, there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
