The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is a faint layer of surface dust. There is some faint rubbing to the extreme edges. There are a few media splashes to the lower right vertical edge. There are some pinpoint accretions in places, most notably to the lower left horizontal edge. There are three passages of minor craquelure, most notably to the grey passage to the centre left vertical edge. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
