The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. The work is slightly discoloured. There is some soft surface soiling. There are hairline drying craquelures, some flaking, slightly tenting, in the pink passage in the lower left quadrant. There are some losses to impasto tips. There are some minor paint losses in places. There are surface irregularities in places, predominantly to the pink passage in the lower left quadrant.
