The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. There are a few pinpoint accretions and very faint drying cracks in places to the yellow passage, both only visibly upon very close inspection. There are some minor losses to the lower and upper right corners. When examined under ultraviolet light, there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
