The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged on the reverse upper edge to the mount. There are two artist's pinholes to the upper corners. The sheet has discoloured and there is light staining to the edges. There is a minor crease to the upper left corner and one pinpoint spot of bumping to the extreme lower horizontal edge. There are a few pinpoint spots of foxing in places, only visible on close inspection. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
