The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged on the reverse to its underlying support. The sheet undulates slightly. The horizontal edges are deckled and the vertical edges are uneven. There are a few soft creases, pinpoint accretions and pinpoint spots of foxing to the margins. There are a few accretions, a pinpoint abrasion and hairline burnishing to the upper edge of the image, only visible on close inspection. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
