The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Gelatin silver print. The sheet is hinged on the reverse at the upper horizontal edge to its underlying support. The extreme lower left vertical edge is uneven, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method, and not visible when framed. There is slight discoloration to the extreme left vertical edge, not visible when framed. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
