The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. All elements appear to be present and adhere well to its underlying support. The canvas is slack and undulates slightly to the upper corners and edges. There is minor rubbing to the corners. There are two faint accretions to the upper right quadrant and lower edge. When examined under ultraviolet light, there appears to be no evidence of retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
