The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. There are a few surface irregularities in places, presumably in keeping with the artist's chosen medium. There are some faint handling marks to the upper vertical edge, only visible under strong raking light. There are a few pinpoint accretions in places, predominantly to the upper left quadrant. There are a few hairline abrasions in places, most notably to the left vertical edge, the largest measuring approximately 3in in length. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
