The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. There are a few surface irregularities in places in keeping with the artist's chosen medium. There are a few minor hairline abrasions in places to the red passages. There is some minute rubbing to the gold glazing on the extreme edges of the smaller plate and to the underside of both plates. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work is in very good condition.
