The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

(i) Not examined out of frame. The sheet appears to be hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. The sheet undulates slightly and the edges are deckled. There is a faint crease to the lower right vertical edge, only visible under strong raking light. Subject to the foregoing it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.

(ii) Not examined out of frame. The sheet appears to be hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. The sheet undulates slightly. There is a soft crease to the lower right corner. There are a few pinpoint accretions in places, predominantly to the lower section, presumably studio related. Subject to the foregoing it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition. Please note that this work is sold framed.
