The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. The sheet undulates slightly and there are artist pinhole's to the upper right corner. There is faint discolouration to the extreme horizontal edge and skinning to the lower right corner. There are two pinpoint spots of foxing, one to the upper left vertical edge and another to the upper right quadrant. There a few minute tears in places to the edges, and a repaired tear measuring approx. 2in. in length to the lower left horizontal edge. Subject to the foregoing it is our view the work appears to be in generally good condition.
