The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
One vase: Small chip to the mouth rim measuring max. approx. 0.4 cm. x 0.2 cm.
Only traces of gilt remain on the ring handle.
Second vase: one ring is missing to the handle. The handles only have traces of gilt remaining.
There is a missing triangular section below the handle without the ring measuring max. approx. 1.2 cm. long with an associated crack extending to the rim and continuing around the handle that appears to have been re-stuck. Some light fritting to the rim.
Each vase has scratches and surface wear in keeping with its age.
