These moulds were exhibited at notable London institutions such as Syon House and at the Horsham Museum in Horsham.
Pudding moulds, which would have been commonplace in Europe, are a rare form that is found in Chinese export art. Pieces such as these moulds are an unusual and interesting example of Chinese potters fulfilling commissions for pieces in forms originating from the West.

One mould: with a fine hairline crack to the interior rim (approx 6 cm. long) with associated fine crackles, barely visible on the exterior apart from approx 1.5 cm.
The other: a small hairline to the interior rim (approx 1 cm. long max.).
Both: rims with minor frits and bruises; very minor baking flaws.
