FAMILLE ROSE PLATES AND FOUR VARIOUS PLATES
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The pair of plates is decorated with a chrysanthemum head and a branch of bamboo surrounded by a floral border at the rim. One plate is painted with four cartouches of figures. One plate is painted with a central roundel of kingfishers surrounded by floral panels. One plate is decorated with a handscroll amongst flowers, and one further plate decorated with a fenced garden.
The pair of plates 9 ¾ in. (24.7 cm.) diam.
