The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
A crack to the base that extends upwards across the body up to the shoulders and neck on both sides; with associated chips to the porcelain.
An area of overpainting to the rim exterior (approx. 5 cm. wide); and an area of overpainting just below the rim edge (approx. 5 cm. wide).
The gilding is particularly well-preserved.
