The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The two-handled cup: a semicircular section (approx. half of the circumference) has been broken in several pieces and restuck with some areas of composite infill.
The saucer with the boys and ladies: a section to the rim (approx. 6.5 cm.) restuck, with crack of circa 6 cm.; two short hairline cracks to the mouth rim (the larger 1.8 cm. long).
The armorial saucer: with two thin starcracks to the base (the largest 3 cm. long max); has a small rim chip and related small forked hairline rim crack.
The wucai dish: a chip to the foot rim, infilled (approx. 0.6 cm. wide).
The ruby-ground saucer has a small hairline rim crack of 1.5 cm.
The ruby ground cup: a hairline crack to the mouthrim (max. approx. 3 cm.).
One of the gilt-ground saucers has a forked hairline rim crack of circa 2 cm. and one of the cups has a small nick to the rim.
One of the gilt ground saucers: a minute star crack to the base (approx. 0.8 cm. max).
