TWO FAMILLE ROSE FIGURES OF DAOIST IMMORTALS
JIAQING PERIOD (1796-1820)
One figure is modelled as the God of War, Guandi, wearing an elaborate military robe emblazoned with a dragon and holding a book in his right hand. The other figure shows the God of Prosperity, Cai Shen, in fish-like attire resting his right foot on a small black tiger and holding an ingot in his left hand.
