The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue description;
- the full sheet.
- with pale backboard staining.
- a 60 mm. touched-in scratch in the blue background at centre right.
- a whitish hairline on the surface below the left ear (visible under magnification as a trace of tiny fibres attached to the surface).
- occasional minor ink loss at the extreme corners and sheet edges.
- very faint rubbing at the sheet edges due to the mount.
- faint skinning in places at the sheet edge verso where old tape has been removed.
- very soft creasing at the corners,
Otherwise as described in the catalogue and in good condition.
