The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet.
- the colours vivid and the diamond dust still thickly encrusted.
- a 25 mm. diagonal crease at the upper left sheet corner, skillfully retouched in blue ink.
- a 40 mm. crescent-shaped handling crease in the background upper right, skillfully retouched in blue ink.
- a repaired 5 mm. nick at the upper right sheet edge
- minor rubbing to the mat-blue background, visible in a raking light.
- occasional tiny flecks of ink loss in places at the extreme right sheet edge.
- a tiny pencil smudge to the left of the brooch.
- shallow indentations and very faint associated skinning from old tape hinges on all four sides verso, visible in a raking light (not visible recto).

Otherwise as described, and in very good condition.
