The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- traces of old ink in the lower margin at centre.
- remains of old hinging tape at the sheet edges verso.

- the full sheet.
- pale backboard staining showing at the extreme upper sheet edge.
- the occasional pale pinpoint foxmark.
- the occasional small nick at the sheet edges due to the way the work has previously been framed.
- some soft handling creases in the margins.
