The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description;:
- the sheet fractionally reduced by a 3-4 mm. at left, the left sheet edge slightly irregular.
- pale time staining overall, darkening in places at the sheet edges.
- two short ink lines (presumably ballpoint pen) in the lower right subject above the date
- a 5 mm. tear, with a small area of surface abrasion; and another 3 mm. tear both to the upper left sheet edge.
- occasional handling creases, visible in a raking light.
- pale mount staining verso
- a few thin spots at the sheet edges verso, caused by the removal of old hinges
