The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description;
- with small margins, the sheet probably reduced above and below.
- bearing an added signature by another hand (the impression illustrated in Woll is unsigned, suggesting that the edition was not consistently signed).
- a foxmark at the right sheet tip.
- some soft handling creasing in the upper sheet, mainly visible in a racking light.
