The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description;
- with wide margins, presumably the full sheet
- with inscription Der Bär Sch. 315 in pencil at the lower sheet edge (by another hand).
- two small very pale stains to the left of the subject.
- a diagonal flattened crease lower right in the margin, visible in a raking light.
- creasing and some associated surface abrasions to the sheet corners.
- creasing along the left and right sheet edges.
- a few tiny nicks in places to the upper and lower sheet edges.
- some surface abrasions at the corners verso.
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
