The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- with wide margins, probably the full sheets
- (Self Portrait), a few occasional very soft handling creases along the margins in places, two horizontal crease across the width of the sheet at the lower margin, tiny remains of adhesive at the lower margin, remains of of old adhesive and hinges at the upper sheet edge on the reverse, hinged at the upper sheet edge on the reverse
- (Girl) a few occasional very soft handling creases along the margins in places and some soft cockling along the sheet edges and the plate, a soft crease at the left of the plate, a pinpoint rustmark below the elbow of the girl on the plate
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
