The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description;
- trimmed to or just within the platemark at left and above (presumably as issued, see https://www.moma.org/collection/works/9177)
- with small margins below and at right .
- a flattened horizontal crease in the upper right margin.
- some light surface dirt in the upper right margin.
- the ink collector's stamp verso faintly showing through at lower left recto.
- thin spots and remains of old hinges at the upper sheet corners verso
- a thin band of pale old adhesive along the right edge.
- Japan paper hinges at the upper and lower right edge verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
