The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- printed on the right side of a folded sheet.
- the colours slightly muted as is common with this print, particularly the orange on the central four dots at right, and on the cloud-like shape upper left.
- a foxmark at the upper left corner.
- pale time-staining.
- the collector's mark on the right side of the folded sheet verso, faintly showing through in the lower left corner recto.
- the collector's mark also on the left half of the folded sheet recto.
- the left half of the folded sheet with remaining spots of old backing sheets/ backboards.
- the left half of the folded sheet irregularly trimmed lower edge and with a paper loss near the fold.
