The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- with wide margins, and deckle edges on two sides.
- with pale time-staining visible, predominantly in the right margin.
- two small creases (the largest 35 mm.) at the upper and lower sheet edges.
- occasional and unobtrusive soft handling creases in the margins (only visible in a raking light).
- occasional, pale foxing verso, not showing recto.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
