The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet.
- the hue of red for the cloak and the Superman shield slightly softer than some other impressions in the edition, presumably intrinsic to the printing.
- a crease (circa 55 mm.) at the upper left sheet edge.
- a small scuff, with an area of resultant ink loss (circa 5 mm.) at the upper sheet edge, presumably caused by stray diamond dust.
- some loose diamond dust and associated minor scratches, as is common with this print.
- a light scuff mark in the subject's upper right thigh, with some other unobtrusive surface scuffs elsewhere.
- hinged at sheet edges verso.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
