The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet.
- the signature and colours slightly attenuated, as is common with this print.
- light-staining across the sheet, more prominent at the sheet edges.
- three pinpoint dark spots in the lower and right margins.
- areas of unobtrusive surface dirt in the left margin.
- the extreme sheet corners slightly creased.
- hinged with paper tape at various places along the upper, left and right sheet edges, the verso therefore unexamined.
