The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- a few tiny flecks of white pigment on the central vertical stripe, below the subject's chin.
- occasional soft rubbing to the mat black areas, mainly to the black vertical stripe in the left subject, mainly visible in raking light and as is common with this print.
