The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet.
- the colours bright and unattenuated.
- a soft handling crease at the lower left sheet edge visible in a raking light.
- two tiny rough spots in the silver at the top of the tins, probably printing blemishes.
- residual tiny glue spots at the lower and right sheet edges on the reverse, with paper fibres adhered to the glue from the old backing board.
- a thin band of old adhesive staining at the lower right edge below the signature.
Otherwise in good condition.
