The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description,:
- the left sheet edge slightly trimmed.
- the red unevenly faded.
- handling creases and scuffs in places in the image (some with associated minor ink loss primarily in the red label).
- creases and minor rubbing in places at the extreme sheet edges, a 70 mm. crease with associated short tears at the left sheet edge
- glue remains in places on the reverse
- a very pale 220 mm. moisture stain on the reverse at the lower sheet edge.
