The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- overall pale and even light-staining.
- the signature slightly smudged as is common with this print.
- a hair encapsulated in the printed surface in the upper left quadrant of the subject, from the time it was printed and intrinsic to this impression; visible in raking light.
- the artist's red copyright stamp verso faded.
- mounted onto a support card on all four sides with thin paper tape verso.
