The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

‌- craquelure and spots of ink loss in the light grey ink, as is common with this print.
‌- minor scuffing in the black and darker grey areas, mainly visible in raking light.
‌- areas of minor surface dirt in the lower white background and pale grey ink.
‌- hinged with paper tape at various points along the upper sheet edge verso.
‌- remains of paper tape on all sheet edges verso, partially obscuring the publisher's stamp.
