The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet.
- the colours fresh.
- time staining along the extreme upper sheet edge.
- a thin and short skinned area on the reverse (approx. 38 x 8 mm.), touching the 'A' of the signature, a few tiny adhesive residues.
- the tips of the lower and upper right corners slightly creased.
- minor soiling in places verso.
